Award Criteria:• Available to graduating seniors from Glenwood Springs High School. • Applicants must be the son or daughter of a teacher,• Selection based on academic merit and financial need.

Maya Valdez (Glenwood Springs High School) — Pursuing Elementary Education at Colorado Mesa University. • 2024 Recipient: Lucas Garcia (Roaring Fork High School) — Pursuing Secondary Mathematics at University of Colorado.

Established in honor of Craig and Karen Butler, this scholarship supports students at Lawrence High School while carrying forward a legacy of compassion, service, and academic impact.

Created to expand educational opportunity across local communities, the General Scholarship Fund provides support for the maintenance and growth of our local scholarships and helps us bring Teacher Appreciation Scholarships to more communities in need.
